I have had a recurring dream twice now.

I find myself running away from my home, with my neighborhood displaying unusual colors. The further I run, the more unfamiliar and transformed my surroundings become, with the colors growing increasingly saturated and surreal. This raises the question: is this truly NOVCOTT, my home and neighborhood, or am I experiencing a different dimension that only resembles it? There’s a strange, nostalgic feeling to this dream, as though I’ve been in a similar place before, perhaps my grandmother’s neighborhood. However, unlike other places I frequently visit in dreams, I can only glimpse this location sporadically, likely when I sleep at certain hours.

There’s a theory that dreams become progressively more bizarre during the early morning hours, between 4 AM and 7 AM. I believe this to be true, as I often experience strange dreams during this time frame. Both instances of dreaming about NOVCOTT becoming increasingly saturated and "dream-like" occurred when I was asleep at 11 AM, waking up at 12 PM. Yet, curiously, the dream portrays a time around 4 in the afternoon.

I long to explore this dreamscape more often. Perhaps if I focus more on observing and absorbing the details of these places, I could revisit them at different times. Although I’m working to correct my sleep schedule, even if I sleep at 11 AM, the likelihood remains low. Still, I wonder if there's a method to "absorb" this environment more consciously. I do have a potential plan in mind, but I’ll outline that in a separate entry.
